CAN YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF ?
My name is Soukaina, I’m 28 years old and I graduated from ENSEA, a non-specialized graduate engineering school where I studied electronics. I joined DAVRICOURT Paris in August 2018 and I’m currently in a mission with a Japanese automotive equipment manufacturer. I work as a Project Engineer dedicated to one of the products developed by the company. This assignment is an opportunity for me to discover the world of equipment manufacturing after a few years working for a car manufacturer.
WHY did you choose to work in the field of ELECTRONICS ?
Electronics is something that is everywhere in our daily lives, and for me choosing to pursue my studies in the field of electronics meant the opportunity to work in a wide variety of areas. I knew that this was a choice I wouldn’t regret and a good technical qualification to have.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT the AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR ?
The automobile industry is a sector that is constantly changing, where the main challenge is the ability to anticipate customers’ wishes while also integrating innovations. It’s a truly dynamic area with development cycles that are relatively short. Also, it’s very rewarding to be working on “products” that we live with on a daily basis.
What would you tell a student considering the field of ELECTRONICS ?
Electronics opens a lot of doors, it’s a very good choice for someone who is attracted to technology but hasn’t yet made a decision as to which sector they’d like to join. We’re also talking about jobs that become quickly fascinating.
