French High Growth Recruitment Firm DAVRICOURT Opens Office in Toronto Region
New Office to Support Talent Recruitment in the Advanced Manufacturing Sector
February 11, 2020 (Toronto) – French recruitment & staffing company, DAVRICOURT, today announced the opening of an office in the Toronto Region to better serve its growing Canadian client base. Thanks to its international network, DAVRICOURT supplies major manufacturing players with talented and experienced engineers, and from its location in the region, plans to leverage the Toronto area’s rich talent pool in this industry. To select the right location for its new office, DAVRICOURT worked closely with the Ontario International – PARIS Trade and Investment Office in Paris, France, and Toronto Global, a team of experienced business advisors assisting global businesses to expand into the Toronto Region.
First established in Paris, France in 2011, DAVRICOURT quickly grew to over 350 employees. Over the last four years, DAVRICOURT has tripled its annual turnover to CAD $44 million. In its new Toronto location, DAVRICOURT CANADA is headed by Nadia Duteil and Emmanuel Posner, who plan to scale up operations by hiring local talent over the next three years.
“We used to support some of our clients located in Canada, from France. With our growing Canadian client base, we are thrilled to extend our footprint in Toronto to be more responsive to this important market,” said Emmanuel Posner.
The company choose the Toronto Region for its economic vitality, and for access to skilled, niche talent in the advanced manufacturing industry, such as software engineers, avionics engineers, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers. Toronto Region’s world-class researchers in robotics and AI have attracted top international talent and billions of dollars of investment. From leading engineers and computer scientists at the University of Toronto to state-of-the-art UAV testing facilities at Durham College, the region offers one of the best places in the world to design, test, and build new technologies.
“The Toronto Region has emerged as a North American leader in robotics technology thanks to its exceptional capabilities in manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and other technology-focused fields,” said Toronto Mayor John Tory. “I’m thrilled that DAVRICOURT CANADA will call Toronto home, to leverage one of the most educated and diverse workforces in the world, create jobs for our talented residents and contribute to our reputation as a global centre for innovation, creativity and economic growth. Welcome to the Toronto Region!”
